Question: How can the amount of curriculum that is being taught through the media center increase across the elementary grades (kindergarten - 5th).
Setting: The setting is an urban elementary school in Asheville, NC. We are school-wide Title 1, with at least 90% free and reduced lunch. There are 26 classroom teachers, and a wide variety of support staff, including a full-time media coordinator and full-time assistant. The school has 470 students across grades K-5.
Participants:
I will interview 2 teachers from K-2, and 2 teachers from 3-5, the media coordinator, media assistant, and principal or assistant principal.

I am anxious to see how your research project turns out. I almost did the same project. I know this is what I want to do for my Product of Learning class, so I hope I will be able to use some of your research. This issue has been debated at my schooll for several years. I feel it is most important to integrate wherever possible. The library is a great place as is all the other "specials classes" eg: art, music etc.
good luck

There is no name on this.
In any case, the research question is too wordy. I also think it needs a bit more focus; "curriculum" is very, very broad. It might be more productive if you focus on one aspect of curriculum.
I would also recommend that you limit the age range to either K-2 or 3-5 for the purposes of this study (it's only 4 weeks).
Please revise and email me -- whoever this may be.
